The Edge E4 Smart Door Controller is an innovative security system, able to control up to two gates or doors. This model is post-mounted, made with a weather-resistant plastic enclosure, making it durable against wear and tear. The E4 allows specific user permissions for transmitters, card readers, and vehicle tags for flexibility while keeping your entryway secure.
The Edge E4 has two available Wiegand inputs, the standard 26-bit protocol, and the SBI Flex 64-bit Wiegand protocol. These allow the system to offer the customization and flexibility you need to keep your location secure. The 26-bit protocol provides the option to connect other Wiegand devices to your Edge E4, and the SBI Flex 64-bit Wiegand protocol gives you the option for 4-to-11-digit codes with a 3-digit facility code equaling up to 100 billion codes.
The Edge E4 can be programmed and controlled from the unit, but with the secure, easy-to-use mobile app, you can program and manage the keypad, all from the administrator app. Once the Edge E4 has connected via Bluetooth, you can manage updates, sync data, and export reports. The Edge Smart Keypad App is available for both Apple and Android devices.
